D+ Simulator 2A Induktion train and truck constructionIt detects the charging process by the rising voltage of the starter battery (> 13. 7 V). This control signal is then used, for example, to activate a split charge relay. If the voltage drops below 13 V (Engine OFF) interrupts the control signal. The D+ simulator is used when no control signal (D+) is available from the alternator or when it is difficult to tap into. Can only be used as a high side switch.
