LITTLE GREENE Tapete - Broad Stripe - Yellow-Pink Wanddeko. Breite 32cmA classic striped pattern with "Roman" or Regency proportions was created in the 18th century through the "trough method". The strips were drawn on paper by passing it under a wooden trough with holes or slits in the bottom. These striped wallpapers typically feature a brushed finish, which was later replaced in the 19th century by a flatter roll print, as in the wallpapers shown here.
