It is made from white, glazed porcelain only the underside of the plate remains unglazed. With its plain shape, it has become a kind of standard. Designed by Hansjerg Maier Aichen, it has been on the market for decades. The smart butter dish is dishwasher safe and even microwave safe if needed.
