EVERY BOTTLE HELPS

Viele tausend Menschen in München leben auf der Straße. Seit 2012 hilft der Kältebus e.V., den wir 2019 bereits unterstützt haben, an dieser Stelle. 

Im letzten Jahr hat sich die Lage für obdachlose Menschen wegen der Pandemie deutlich verschärft. Warme Orte wurden knapp, Teestuben haben den Betrieb einschränken müssen. Auch in den Sommermonaten geht es für diese Menschen unter verschärften Bedingungen weiter. Wir danken dem Kältebus-Team für die wichtige Arbeit! 

SO KANNST DU HELFEN

Wenn du einen Obdachlosen siehst, der Hilfe braucht und annehmen möchte, ruf beim Kältebus an: 200 045 930 oder schreib eine E-Mail an info@kaeltebus-muenchen.de. Wenn er/sie in sehr schlechtem Zustand ist, wähle sofort 112. Aufgrund der aktuellen Lage mussten wir unser Engagement etwas einschränken. Wir freuen uns bald wieder mit voller Kraft unterstützen zu können! 

Die Initiativgruppe e.V. (IG) wurde vor rund 50 Jahren gegründet und fördert Bildung von Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund. Ziel ist, wesentlich zu Chancengleichheit und Bildungsgerechtigkeit beizutragen.

Die IG ist Trägerin von vielen Integrationsprojekten für Groß und Klein. Unter anderem arbeiten die Ehrenamtlichen und festangestellten Mitarbeiter*innen darauf hin, dass Kinder und Jugendliche so früh wie möglich sprachlich und schulisch gefördert werden. 

Das Angebot umfasst Förderunterricht für Schüler*innen, Ekkiko Ferienlerncamps und Hausaufgabenhilfe bis hin zu sozialpädagogischen Lernhilfen. Insgesamt sind 145 Ehrenamtliche in München tätig. In der IG kommen Menschen aus der ganzen Welt zusammen. Somit wird auch interkulturelles Verständnis und ein weltoffenenes Miteinander gefördert.

BrückenBauen is a non-profit nationwide trainer network for cultural education. Since September 2016, intercultural training formats for refugees have been offered here - specially designed to meet their needs. Fugitives usually lack the cultural preparation for life in Germany. The consequences are cultural misunderstandings, prejudices and rejection up to the emergence of parallel societies and discrimination. The goal and vision is accelerated integration through active involvement in social life and in the world of work in order to consolidate a common and well-functioning community of values. 

People with their own history of migration or flight are used as cultural facilitators. They know both worlds - the German and the foreign - and can thus convey German culture to the refugees from their perspective and experience.

Own life (part of the Marli Bossert Stiftung e.V.) enables old and young people to show their talents and heart's issues and to be two or more together instead of lonely. Own life organises events, networks like-minded people and brings the generations together. Because the best age is now!

In August, the Festival of Generations took place. Young and old discussed and celebrated together. The aim was to bring together people who had met during the Corona crisis in the virtual eigenleben.club ...you've met. The older generations are thus experiencing virtual networking and using the new social media for themselves. 

The association Schneekönige e.V. was founded in 2015. The aim of the association is to fulfill the wishes of the homeless or people living in emergency accommodation. This can be a new pair of glasses or a musical instrument, but also immaterial things, like a visit to the theatre or a restaurant. In this way, the association wants to give hope and courage to homeless people, treat them with respect and contribute to their integration into our society.

This is made possible by various cooperation partners, including the women's homeless shelters Karla 51 and Haus Agnes as well as the institutions Katholischen Männerfürsorgevereins and the AWO. The association collects urgently needed donations for this purpose.

Most of the panels were closed during Corona. Therefore KÖŞK, an initiative for young art, spontaneously started "Das Westend tafelt". With the help of volunteers, food was distributed free of charge to the needy for 42 days.
Thanks to numerous donations from, among others, Aqua Monaco, Augustiner Brauerei, District Committee 8, Initiative "Solidarity instead of Hamster Purchases", Ligsalz 8, Paulaner Group, Roomers Hotel Munich, Wohnungsgenossenschaft West, Solicity Munich, Pachmayr, Hamberger, Edith Haberland Wagner Foundation and Frauenwohnprojekt Westend, 10,000 warm meals were distributed.
While the guests gathered in the Lutheran Church of Resurrection in the West End, they were sweetened with music from the Monaco Jazz Club, carried by the fabulous acoustics of the church.

In a joint action of Aqua Monaco, the Monaco Jazz Club e.V., KulturRaum München e.V. and Münchner Tafel, a special jazz happening was held on a Saturday in April for the waiting guests of Münchner Tafel at the wholesale market.

People could forget their worries about the wonderful jazz music of the Monaco Jazz Club for a while. There was music and laughter. In addition there were refreshing lemonades and water from Aqua Monaco. Generous sponsor of the musicians' fees for the day was Annette Kopp from Cada Schmuck.

buntkicktgut is the intercultural streetfootball league for children and young people from different cultural, social and national backgrounds. The project connects the young people in a playful way. With its many locations and 4500 members, buntkicktgut has been an outstanding pan-European project since 1997. Among other things because it promotes young people in summer and winter. There are more than 150 teams of "buntkicktgut" in Munich alone.

With the ball, the children and young people learn that mutual tolerance and fairness are the basis for peaceful interaction. They themselves steer the league - as players, in the league council, as buntkicker editors, referees or street football workers. The basic pillars of participation, integration and identification thus unite children from all over the world through football.

C.O.N. SONANZA e.V. is an inclusive cultural and social project for children and young people. The non-profit association was founded in 2017 by Constanza Vagnini-Holbl, following the example of the well-known music program EL SISTEMA from Venezuela. C.O.N. SONANZA follows the approach of 'music as a life chance' with the aim of promoting social cohesion. Here, too, access to (musical) education depends strongly on the parental home

Children and young people from all socio-cultural backgrounds receive free training from dedicated international music teachers and a loan instrument for practice at home. From the very beginning, music is played in an orchestra, in which the different children become one big musical family. Fun and motivation are clearly noticeable, we could convince ourselves of this personally during an orchestra rehearsal.

In Munich, the city with the highest rents in Germany, almost 10,000 people are homeless, at least 550 live on the streets - summer and winter alike.
Since 2012, Kältebus München e.V. has been providing acute assistance here.

In night-time operations, the helpers distribute hot drinks, food, sleeping bags and vouchers for municipal indoor swimming pools to the homeless. Their tour goes right through Munich to the well-known sleeping places.

Education is the best means against terror and violence. For this reason, Munich-based Jaqueline Flory founded the association "Zeltschule e. V.".
The association builds tent schools in the Bekaa plain in Lebanon, directly in the camps on the Syrian border, where more than 300,000 Syrian refugee children live without education. It is supported by several Bavarian schools whose pupils are building the schools in Syria.

In the midst of one of the greatest humanitarian catastrophes of our time, refugee girls and boys can thus acquire an educational standard with which they can consciously help shape their country after war and regime change. At the same time, the more than 7,500 children of the 30 German partner schools learn that through their commitment they can alleviate need and make a difference.
