The BioBoden cooperative buys and mediates agricultural land and farms to farmers who want to practice organic farming, e.g. to young farmers who do not have the necessary capital themselves. Every farmer on BioBoden land is obliged to manage it according to the strict principles of an organic farming association.
Bio Boden can look back on a successful 2019: With now over 65 partner farms and 3,532 hectares of land secured for organic farming. Made possible by 4,464 members who have contributed 30.5 million euros in capital.
We have also increased our membership shares to make the vision a reality: To jointly shape the agricultural turnaround towards more organic farming.
