„Kunst öffnet Welten“

Icoya (International Connection Of Young Artists) organizes "Street Art Camps" for children and young people in Munich during the school holidays. Workshops on breakdance, rapping, graffiti, capoeira, photography and design are offered.
The non-profit association wants to enable young people to let off steam creatively and collectively. Without conditions and limits. "We want to make art tangible for everyone, especially for children. Because art opens worlds. Even without words, you can find a common language with it, open horizons, form other perspectives".

The offer is particularly aimed at children from socially difficult neighbourhoods who rarely experience art. Icoya works together with youth centres, schools and community accommodation for refugees. They are financed by public and private grants and donations.
